TriCore is Pleased to Introduce its New Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Angela Sanchez

 

TriCore is pleased to introduce its new Chief Medical Officer,  Angela Sanchez, MD.

Dr. Sanchez is a lifelong New Mexican and a Family Practice physician in Albuquerque since 2007.  She began her medical career at Southwest Medical Associates (SWMA), and when SWMA was purchased by Ardent/Lovelace in 2012, she was instrumental in the development of Lovelace Medical Group, growing it from a multi-specialty group of twenty physicians to a team of over three hundred today.  In her capacity as the Medical Director for Primary Care, Dr. Sanchez was the lead outpatient physician developing multi-specialty protocols and policies, as well as the Director of Laboratory Services.  A leader in organized medicine in New Mexico, Dr. Sanchez has advocated at the state level for patients, providers, and healthcare organizations throughout her career.

Dr. Sanchez earned her MD from Dartmouth Medical School and completed a residency in Family Medicine at Baylor Medical Center.
