Specific IgE Blood Testing

TriCore offers a full range of ImmunoCAP® IgE blood allergy tests to meet diverse patient needs. Our testing can help patients identify both what exposures to avoid and, just as importantly, what exposures are safe.

TriCore’s Food and Respiratory Allergy Panels

Our Food Allergy Panel measures the body’s immune response to common allergens, including the “Big 9” food categories that cause 90% of food allergies, helping to rule in or rule out potential food allergies.

The Respiratory Allergy Panel evaluates immune responses to airborne allergens by measuring immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies produced in response to respiratory triggers. With this advanced testing, you can pinpoint the molecular causes of allergies, assess sensitivities with greater precision, and differentiate between species-specific allergies and cross-reactivity.

Component Reflex Testing

Our component reflex testing provides a comprehensive view of a patient’s allergic sensitization, without requiring an additional blood draw. Reflex testing helps identify true allergies vs sensitivities and informs of the severity of reaction. For suspected food allergies, our allergy profile includes reflex testing on specific components when allergens such as milk, egg, and peanut test positive. This approach supports a more accurate diagnosis and helps tailor management plans to each patient’s unique sensitivities.
