Processing & Shipping

Specimen Processing:
Allow red top tubes to clot for 10 minutes. Centrifuge red and green top serum or plasma. For non gel-barrier tubes, serum or plasma must be separated from cells within 2-hours of collection.

Rejection Criteria:
EDTA plasma is unacceptable.
