Processing & Shipping

Specimen Processing:
Allow red top to clot for 20-30 minutes. Centrifuge immediately and separate serum into transport tube and freeze immediately.

Shipping Instructions:
CRITICAL: Ship frozen.

Special Instructions:
Separate serum from cells and freeze ASAP.

Rejection Criteria:
Hemolyzed and lipemic specimens are unacceptable.
