Processing & Shipping

Specimen Processing:
Allow red top to clot for 20-30 minutes. Centrifuge immediately and separate serum or plasma into transport tube. Freeze immediately.

Special Instructions:
Separate frozen specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

Rejection Criteria:
Hemolyzed specimens are unacceptable.
