Immunology/Autoimmune
TriCore’s Immunology Laboratory performs serum testing to diagnose many kinds of infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders, including lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, celiac disease, Addison’s disease, Hashimoto’s disease and others. Where available, we employ reflex testing protocols that allow autoimmune disorders to be diagnosed in a highly efficient, cost-effective manner. We also offer testing to diagnose vasculitis and some autoimmune clotting disorders. Beyond these diagnostic services, the Immunology Laboratory offers subsequent testing for physicians who wish to evaluate disease progression and/or response to therapy by comparing current and previous results. Additionally, our extensive Flow Cytometry Laboratory provides rapid turnaround time on lymphocyte studies including CD4/CD8 quantitation as well as B-cell and T-cell subsets. Clinical pathology consultation is available for test selection and results interpretation.
