Immunohistochemistry
The TriCore Immunohistochemistry Laboratory maintains a comprehensive panel of 140 stains. The test menu is designed to address the large majority of diagnostic challenges in surgical and hematopathology. Well-validated stains for the predictive markers ER, PR, and Her2 are offered, with access to Her2 FISH testing as indicated. In addition, we offer several useful two-color combinations: AMACR and basal cell markers for prostate biopsies, breast lumen/myoepithelial markers, and CD30/PAX-5 for Hodgkin lymphoma evaluation. Also available are the four DNA mismatch repair proteins, and in-situ hybridization for EBER and kappa and lamda light chains. Our most specialized reagent is against the Sin Nombre hantavirus. All tests are available as a technical-only service or with histologic interpretation, and each stain is supplied with an on-slide control.
