TriCore’s extensive offering of cytopathology services covers gynecologic as well as all areas of non-gynecologic cytopathology. With a team of experienced cytotechnologists and lab preparation staff, we offer expertise in diagnostic interpretation of all specimen types, along with fine-needle aspiration and specimen preparation.  The laboratory provides state-of the-art processing for gynecologic and non-gynecologic samples, combined manual and automated screening for Pap tests, and a large clinical database and case file that facilitate a robust QA program for biopsy correlation and retrospective reviews. We also provide an active cytopathology consultation service for difficult cases, and we interface with other TriCore laboratories to provide ancillary testing on cytologic specimens.
