TriCore’s Clinical Chemistry Laboratory provides support for a broad range of medical specialties, many of which are offered 24/7/365, including serum chemistry, endocrinology, oncology, infectious diseases serology and others. Most of the lab’s analytic instruments have been seamlessly integrated onto a single track with the recent installation of a robotic automation system, which uses barcode technology and electronic tracking to decrease the risk of specimen labeling errors while maintaining rapid, consistent turnaround times. The highly automated system allows us to deliver results by 6 a.m. for 98 percent of specimens submitted the previous day.
