TriCore provides work opportunities for students and encourages our employees to advance professionally by offering tuition reimbursement for education.
With flexible shifts, many of our jobs are perfect for a student’s schedule, with the added benefit of higher pay than student-level positions at many other organizations. Clinical lab assistants who complete an approved 12-week course at CNM or the University of New Mexico can work in a variety of environments while they gain professional experience. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing careers in the laboratory sciences field.
With at least 2 years of post-high school credit hours with an emphasis in science, you could be eligible for a position as a technical lab assistant or a laboratory specimen technician.
If you have graduated with an associate or bachelor’s degree in medical lab sciences, biology or chemistry, you’re eligible to work as a medical technologist with TriCore.
For our fulltime employees, we cover up to 80 percent of tuition at accredited universities, and for part-time employees we reimburse up to 55 percent of tuition for pre-approved courses of study. More good news: you’re eligible after only 6 months of employment. Employees must apply for the reimbursement and are reimbursed based on funds available.
