Who We Are

TriCore Reference Laboratories is New Mexico’s largest medical laboratory, established in 1998 by a merger of The Reference Laboratory with the hospital laboratories of the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and Presbyterian Healthcare Services. You’ll find our Patient Care Centers located throughout the state in communities where people live and work.

Based in Albuquerque, TriCore is an independent, not-for-profit laboratory staffed by employees who are committed to helping healthcare professionals provide better, more effective and more cost-efficient care for their patients. With a menu of more than 1,500 tests, we offer the full spectrum of laboratory services to physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and companies that conduct workplace drug testing.
